About Tidal Ledger
I started Tidal Ledger because I wanted to bring the kind of financial partnership I’ve spent my career building to the businesses that inspire me the most.
For more than a decade I’ve worked inside large, complex organizations doing work I’m proud of. Strategic planning, financial analysis, supporting leaders making important decisions with real consequences. That experience shaped how I think about finance and what it can do for a business.
But the founders building something new - creating something that didn’t exist before - rarely have access to that kind of partnership. They deserve a financial partner who believes in what they’re doing. Tidal Ledger is that partner.
I’ve spent my career in finance leadership - building budgets, running forecasts, supporting major capital decisions, and helping executive teams understand what their numbers actually meant for the road ahead.
The organizations I worked in were large and complex. The stakes were high. And what became clear over time was how much better decisions got when the people making them had real financial clarity. Not more data. Clarity.
What I also noticed was that founders - people running their own businesses, building something from scratch - had bookkeepers managing the transactions and accountants handling compliance and taxes. What’s often missing is someone focused on the bigger picture. Someone who understands the business, watches the numbers over time, and can sit across the table say: here’s what’s happening, here’s why it matters, and here’s what I think you should do about it.
That’s the work I do. The best version of this relationship is one where you don’t feel like you hired a stranger - you feel like you gained a partner who is as invested in where the business is going as you are.
